Hmmz... it shocks me just how out of touch with a person i can get... yet i know that there were numerous ppl I have crossed paths with with whom i hv hardly heard from again...

haha... in truth it has been done for quite a long time... oh wellz, its just that now i understand and know for sure... *grinz... Love is always the greatest gift.. and when better to recieve it in full than during this season...

Shun Jing, Amy, Char, Ben.... with each of these people I have shared the deepest depths of my soul... yet never have i truly shown them all that I am... and now I have drifted from them... why? its my doing actually... every one... well... except Char... there are many others of whom i talked with and listened to... Tim, Livia, Aaron, Colin, Virn, Simun, Hannah,Ken, etc........ but now... i don't even keep in contact with those who have gone to other schools or out into the world... gosh... part of my heart misses them... yet another tells me that my time with them was... up.... done... complete...

God blesses each one of us with gifts... it is up to us who we choose and how we choose to share them.... and with each person that shared their problems and blessings in life with me, I have learnt and grown and in turn helped to nurture them... I guess i may not have impacted their life in a huge way, but i try to help... to love...

Again... Jie... Amy... I wish you all the best... *grinz... maybe our paths will converge one day... or we might continue drifting apart... it will be as God wills... take care of urself...

Shun Jing... though you will never read this... I'm sorry... Im so so sorry.... The guilt that wrecks my heart when i think of all that I had accomplished and then abandoned... Dear friend.. I hope that your path will be lit up by a passing soul...

No person is perfect...

Heya... ive been thinking about this statement for quite some time. and i guess, what do we judge as perfect... who are we to judge perfectness? haha... for me i guess i PREFER people with a great capacity to tolerate, a great capacity to learn, a great capacity to balance... those are the 3 main things i put down as being characteristics of a nearly "perfect" person... for me... have I met one? haha... notice the 'GREAT's... no i have not....

1st... to tolerate is to have patience, love and understanding.... to be able to understand and compromise... to be able to lead with a loving hand and patient nudge in the right direction...

2nd... to learn is to have the discipline to work, the understanding to learn when another is guiding, to let go grudges that are ultimately destructive in nature...

3rd... to balance... this is the most important of the 3... the ability to know when to moderate pleasure... to moderate work... to be able to live and let live and strive for excellence...

I have tried to model my self around my values... and find the patience & discipline that i once had as a child... to be honest... i think i hv been 'growing down' rather than growing up... as the past year proves... i hv become more concerned with my appearence and standing in ppls eyes rather than the betterment of myself... i hv indulged in pleasure in the form of games when i KNOW i cldnt control... I have been sharp and uncaring... impatient and vengeful... disgusting...

again... i say who are we to judge others... indeed... can we judge ourselves fairly? sometimes the amt of comfort you gv other ppl is a measure of how easy you are to get along with... and i believe that a perfect person is one who is in harmony with the ppl arnd him/her...
