Emotions: Guilt

hmm... i feel... disappointed with my Performance in the O'levels... haha... especially Physics... unexpected i guess... but so throughly deserved... oh well... life moves on dun it...

Guilt We were talking about emotions today in Sunday school... .and when i read a note passed to me... i suddenly realised that there was 1 emotion that i had forgotten struck me... Guilt... i am alwayz petrified by the feeling of Guilt... hmm... haha... guilt of not workin hard enough... guilt of not caring to maintain my friendships... guilt of so so many things.... yepz... (to be continued)

1 - The Most Important Lesson

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello'." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2 - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 PM, an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she! decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his suprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.
It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others."
Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.
"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.
"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table.

There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson - The Obstacle in Our Path

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loud! ly blame d the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant
earned what many of us never understand.Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes, I'll do it if it will save her."As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her. You see, after all, understanding and attitude are everything.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation
whom shall I fear." ~ Psalm27:1

Fun-O-Rama

Wow... its a day after the Fun-O-Rama... the experiance... rewarding... the stall? a success.. the atmosphere... Excellent... did i enjoy my self? Absolutely... the preperation leading up to the Fun-o-Rama was hectic to say the least... considering that we left most of the work to the last week.. but with the really creative and quick minds of 1SG3 we sloved all the problems and sourced out the materials needed in excellent time... amazing stuff, apart from a small minority I felt the Class spirit, every1 was putting in 101% of their energy into cooking and running the stall.

I myself spent most of the time showing my friends and family around.. haha.. 1st Amy then My Aunt, Uncle, Tina and Mum, then met Moey and Aaron, Tim... My cousin, Yulin, Mr Ong, Ms Audrey Lim, Victoria(Met her face to face 4 the 1st time today!), Yashira! hvnt seen her in SOOO long... haha... felt a little guilty not helping out at the stall more.. but yepz...

Oh did i mention that Daphne is gonna be the death of me? she "let slip" that i liked Estelle in front of Amy and... ah well.. go figure... haha...

*yawnz... still a little tired, cldnt think straight today and my reflexes were seriously slowed... maybe it has smtng to do with the lack of sleep and the 5 hr gaming session i had today. yesh... im so broke and owing ppl money too... not sure how im gonna pay for the $60 of tix and $10 i owe bryan... i hv exactly $60 now... haha.. oh well... time to go on a "diet". GP time... was the Body Worlds exhibition moral? wt defines morality? is that a better question... hmm... food for though, this is my view

GP

Morality is a question of how comfortable you feel about somthing being done... like for example the experimentation on Cloning... on 1 hand... the experiments deal with life itself.. Sentinent life, human life... the embryo might have the potential to develope into a life and therefore by experimenting with it you will be depriving it of that Chance. On the other hand the implications of Cloning in the Field of Medical sience is enormous... imagine being to heal damaged tissue from a heart attack.. the person would be restored to full health... maybe even healthier than before... people would would have almost definitly have died otherwise would be given another chance at life!

some people were absolutely against the Body World exhibition... honestly I do not see why.. it is a chance to see the human body and the incredible way that it is designed... seemingly perfect and still so fragile... the coal miners lung, ravaged by years of work in the shafts filled with coal dust... yepz...

I'll be having a GP session about twice a week talking about something that occured to me or something... interesting. yepz.. comment pls its just for fun anyway

Learn to love the people who are with you at present.
forget the people in the past and thank them for
hurting you, which led you to love the people you have
right now.

when you love someone, you'll do crazy things you
can't explain, you'll deny the truth and believe in
lies.
when you love someone, you sacrifice, give
everything you've got and don't think twice.

You risk it all no matter what.

everything in life is temporary because everything
changes.
that is why it takes courage to love, knowing
it might end anytime...having faith will make it last.

friends are not the one who laugh when you laugh and
cry when you cry.
they are the ones who make you laugh
and stop you from crying.

love is the feeling we fall in and out of, and
every time we fall off, we learn to hold on
tighter...hoping that next time, we may never have to
let go.

they say when love knocks at your door, open it. But
do you know that sometimes love enters through the
back door and before you begin to notice it, it's on
it's way out.

have you ever loved only to let it go? Have you ever
hated someone and loved him so? Have you ever missed
someone so bad it made you cry? Have you ever seen
someone left alone without knowing why?

true: Lucky is the man who wins the first love of a
woman but luckier is the woman who wins the last love
of a man.

love is not the right word to say when you feel guilty
nor the right word to say when you like a person but
love really matters when we share our thoughts, our
minds, and our hearts...

life has a way of changing things but not the joy that
friendship brings, for friendship is like the shining
moon, makes each night a brighter one.

love is not for beauty or color of the skin, but for a
heart that is loyal within, for beauty fades and the
skin would grow old but a heart that is loyal will
never turn cold.

if someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your
heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn
about trust and the importance of being cautious to
whom you open your heart.

a love is easy to feel, so hard to explain; so easy to
get, so hard to let go; so easy to spell, so hard to
define...and yet everyone is still taking the risk.
That's love!

we are all a little weird and life's a little weird,
and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible
with ours, we join up with them and fall in love in
mutual weirdness and call it love!

never be afraid to fall in love.
it may hurt a lot,
it may give you aches and pain,
but if you don't follow your heart;
in the end you will cry even more for not giving love a chance.

don't run ahead of God.
let Him direct your steps.
He has plans and He has His time.
God's clock is never one minute early nor one minute late.
it always strikes right on time.

if someone loves you, love them back not only because
they love you, but also becasue they are teaching you to love
and opening your heart and eyes to things you have
never seen or felt without them.

the past is meant to be used as a tool for the future.
bad experiences indeed make you bitter
but the lessons learned should make you better.

on letting go:
it hurts to see someone you love happy with somebody else;
but wouldn't it hurt you more to see that person unhappy...with you?

when you find arms that will hold you at your weakest,
eyes that will see you at your ugliest,
lips that will kiss you in both instances,
and a heart that will love you at your worst,
then you have found true love.

someday, someone might come into your life and love
you in a way you always wanted.

if your someday was yesterday, learn;
if your someday is tomorrow, hope;
if your someday is today, cherish

let go of the hand of the person you love,
but don't let go of God's hand.
for when you hold on to His hand,
He may be holding the person you love on the other hand,
to let you hold each other again.

why do people say loving too much makes you stupid?
it's because you'll always be wrong even if you're
right.
you're weak even if you're strong.
you give without receiving.
you cry, get pains but still say you're happy.

how would you know if you've fallen in love real hard?
it's when someone hurts you and you love him still.
then he hurts you again to find out that you love him
even more...

we only have one heart, but there are many places in
it wherein we keep every person we meet.
somebody whom we know we might never meet again, but will never be
forgotten.

your friends are like buttons on the elevator --- they
will either bring you up or take you down. Choose the
people you want to call friends, but be sure to get
yourself on the right floor.

if you're afraid to love a person because of
friendship, you have two choices;
either tell what you feel and let love take its place or forever hide the
feeling under a friendship full of pretenses.

it's best to wait for the one you want than settle for
the one available.
best to wait for the one you love than the one who's around.
best to wait for the right one 'cause life's too short to be wasted on just
someone.

if you feel love, don't lose a grip on it, you'll
never know the one you let go was the one you waited
for all your life.

we can never understand joy till we feel sorrow, faith
till we're tested, peace till we're faced with
conflicts, trust till we're betrayed, and love till
it's gone.

love is not a matter of finding the right person but
rather creating the right relationship.
the important question is not how much love there is at the
beginning but how much there is at the end.

sometimes no matter how secure you are in someone's
arms and no matter how tightly you hold on to this person's hand,
you'll find yourself falling...
dangerously in love with someone else...

there are some who catch our site and only few who
touch our hearts. Look into your heart and pursue the
person you love for it's better to risk than just let
love pass you by.

when everything seems to be unfair, when all that you
do isn't appreciated, I'll take your hand, wipe away
your tears, take you for a walk and tell you
everything will be fine.

sometimes in life you find a special friend.
someone who changes your life just by being a part of it.
someone who makes you laugh till you can't stop.
someone who holds your hand and never lets you go alone
in life

ang
You are Form 2, Angel: The Pure.

"And The Angel rose as holy protector for
all that was created. She fought with honor
and valor to serve the good of the world. But
the coming of the mankind was her downfall; and
end to purity."

Some examples of the Angel Form are Michael
(Christian) and Hercules (Greek).
The Angel is associated with the concept of virtue,
the number 2, and the element of wind.
Her sign is the zenith sun.

As a member of Form 2, you are a person of your
word. You generally keep your promises and
give everything you do your best. Although
some people see you as overbearing sometimes,
you know that you have to stay true to yourself
and do what's right. Angels are the best
friends to have because they are brutally
honest.

You represent... hope.
You represent... hope.
You're quite a daydreamer and can be a hopeless
romantic. You enjoy being creative and don't
mind being alone at times. You have goals, and
know what you want in life... even if they are
a little far fetched.
